Not actually a campground, the gravel parking area is fairly large and comfortably fits a 25' long 5th wheel and truck with enough space for at least one other rig. There are no amenities at this location except for a picnic table, pit toilet and trash can at the entrance of Deer Creek Rd. Deer Creek doesn't need a parking pass of any sort, unlike the trailhead parking lots along Mountain Loop Hwy.
This is the place where most folks come to play in the snow as winter arrives . . .
